The US version is a really poorly produced, watered down show with horrible acting. For Colored Girls
is a beautifully heart-wrenching, inspirational, motivational movie that all MUST see. I truly believe that poetry is one of the most amazing forms of art out there… and it hurts my heart that most people don’t appreciate it. :( Anyway, I’ll be heading to chapters this weekend to pick up the book by Ntozake Shange.
